Number 1: Lavender Essential Oil

Lavender is the UK’s favorite essential oil and it has a wide variety of uses!

When used on its own, Lavender is very relaxing oil, which can help relieve tension and depression. Lavender is also popular for helping with insomnia, and many people use it on bed linen. You can also add a couple of drops to a cotton wool ball and place on the bedroom radiator, for a relaxing nights sleep.

Lavender is also stimulating, calming and good for lifting your spirit.

The Top 12 Essential Oils - Part 1

When you first start out using aromatherapy, it is difficult to know which essential oils to buy first to start your collection. Essential oils can be expensive and if you are just starting out, it is difficult to know which to choose, so we have put together a list our twelve most popular and useful oils to get you started.
